BBL (Broadband Light Laser)

BBL, or BroadBand Light™, HERO is the next generation of phototherapy which improves, pigment, redness, and overall skin quality anywhere on the body, including visible signs of aging, sun damage, acne and more. This impressive treatment utilizes pulses of light energy to gently heat the skin’s surface. This process induces the body’s natural healing process for improved elastin and collagen production—leaving you luminously glowing with continued improvement over time!

There is little-to-no downtime associated with the BBL® HERO™ treatment, making it a popular choice for those looking for long-term results without sacrificing time for significant recovery away from their everyday activities.

What BBL Treats:

The Treatment

During the BBL treatment, the practitioner will apply a cold gel to the area that is to be treated and then use a handheld device to deliver pulses of light onto the skin. The light energy is absorbed by the targeted areas, which stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin. This process helps to improve the skin’s overall tone and texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce pigmentation.

The length of each treatment varies depending on the size of the area and the condition of the skin. Most treatments last between 15-30 minutes and can be repeated every 4-6 weeks. Patients may experience mild redness, swelling, and/or bruising after the treatment, but these side effects typically resolve within a few days.

What BBL Treats:

HALO Laser Therapy

HALO uses laser therapy to eliminate years of damage. The laser is designed to allow your provider to customize a treatment to fit what you want, and HALO will give you back the glow you had when you were younger. HALO Therapy is a resurfacing laser that targets skin issues using two different wavelengths (ablative and on-ablative). As a result, HALO can improve skin clarity and texture, restore your youthful look, and eliminate the need for invasive surgical procedures.

Treatment time with HALO is 15 -30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated. You can be given a topical numbing cream if you need it for comfort. The total recovery time is 60 minutes, and you will see noticeable results in one week. It may take up to two treatments to get the results you want.

HALO has low downtime, and you can return to your normal activities within a day. There is no intensive post-care needed.

HALO will improve:

Sciton Halo Laser

HALO is a high-end skin resurfacing laser that operates using two distinct wavelengths (ablative and non-ablative) to target your skin concerns on multiple levels.

HALO uses laser technology to eliminate years of damage by triggering your body’s natural healing response and reveal the luminous glow you had when you were young. As an integral part of many patients’ long-term skin maintenance plan, the powerful results of HALO can be used to improve skin texture and clarity; restore a youthful glow; and even help delay or eliminate the need for surgical procedures.

What Halo treats:

The Treatment

During a Halo Laser treatment, the laser energy is delivered to the skin with a series of pulses. The laser energy targets both layers by penetrating the epidermis and dermis while leaving the surrounding tissue intact. The energy penetrates deep into the tissue to stimulate collagen production and promote healing while also breaking up the melanin that causes discoloration, resulting in a more even skin tone. The laser energy is also used to reduce the size of pores and smooth out wrinkles. After the treatment is complete, patients may experience some minor redness and swelling, which usually resolves within a few hours.

The Sciton Halo Laser treatment generally lasts around 3-4 months. The treatment typically takes around 30 minutes, and multiple treatments may be needed depending on each individual’s needs.

Sciton Halo skin resurfacing is not a painful experience. A topical numbing cream will be applied before the treatment. The system has a motion tracking system to ensure the skin is treated evenly. The handpiece is rolled across your skin until the system signals that the treatment is complete. The handpiece makes the procedure comfortable and includes a cooling feature. You may feel heat or a prickling sensation, but usually there is little discomfort during the treatment.

There is a short recovery time with the Sciton Halo system. Your skin will peel within a day, but you can apply makeup as needed. After two to three days, your skin may appear slightly bronzed, but on day three, the skin will have peeled away and what is left is fresh, healthy skin. The results continue to improve for several months as your skin regenerates from within and becomes more resilient and firmer.

Rejuvenating your skin with the Sciton Halo system gives you results that last without the threat of damaged skin and the long recovery time associated with other treatments. In addition, you can rest assured that our providers are highly skilled and trained on the Sciton Halo laser.
